You may have always dreamed of riding a swift, sleek, beautifully designed scooter around town, but what you’ve found so far is much too expensive. The Model NJT-009 looks just like a much higher priced scooter, with aerodynamic handlebars, a wide and long cushioned saddle, a roomy footboard for stability and balance, and a handy enclosed carrying case attached behind the seat. The bright headlight allows you to see and be seen during rainy weather and at night. Petrol-fueled scooters require potentially expensive maintenance and the constant purchasing of fuel to drive the expensive scooter. You have none of that expense with this electric bike.
The 500-watt high-speed rear motor is powered by a 48-volt, 20-amp lead acid battery. When the battery is fully charged, the electric bike has a speed of 40-45 km/hour and a range of 45-55 kilometers. The bike will handle a gradient of about 25 degrees. The battery that powers the electric bike requires about eight hours to charge on standard household current.
The Model NJT-009 has good-sized 16” wheels and an iron frame with plastic parts. Front and rear drum brakes provide excellent stopping power. The rear wheel has integrated variable speed drive and a stand keeps the electric bike upright when not in use. Standard accessories include the trunk, mirrors, side stand, battery, electronic alarm system (with two remote controls), and mechanical anti-theft. While the weight of the Model NJT-009 is about 73 kilograms (with the battery), it easily carries a load of about 110 kg.
The reasonably priced electric bike (that looks like a scooter) is not the only thing that will save you money. You’ll not need to spend your money on petrol. Because of the powerful 500-watt motor, you will need to procure insurance, license, registration, stamps, a license plate, and a helmet.
